Privacy Policy for Bheki Remote

Bheki Software operates Bheki Remote for Android and Bheki Remote Suite for Windows (the PC Server). This policy explains what information is handled when you use the apps and how it is used.

1. Information exchanged between your phone and PC

When you choose to connect Bheki Remote to Bheki Remote Suite, the paired devices exchange information over the connection you select: local Wi-Fi, USB tethering, or Bluetooth. Depending on the features you use, this can include:

This information may include personal information or content you choose to display, speak, type, capture, or transfer. The phone-to-PC feature traffic is sent between your paired devices over the selected connection. Use the app only with devices and content you are authorized to access, and protect your pairing PIN.

2. Windows PC Server

Bheki Remote Suite runs the Bheki Remote PC Server on your Windows computer so the phone app can connect and provide the features described above. The server uses the local network or Bluetooth details needed for the selected connection and handles the commands and media required for features you use. Windows Firewall may ask you to allow local network communication. You control whether to start the server, pair a phone, and use these features.

3. Third-party services in the Android app

The Android app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to request and display ads and Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases. These services communicate with Google over the internet and may collect information such as IP address, advertising or app identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic data for advertising, analytics, purchase processing, and fraud prevention. Google Play handles payment details; Bheki Software does not receive your full payment card details. These Google services are used by the Android app and are separate from the local phone-to-PC feature connection.

Connection PINs and other app settings are kept on the device where the app uses or saves them, including the PC where the PC Server saves its PIN. Audio, screen or camera content, input, and files are exchanged between paired devices for the feature you request. Google may process information through its Android advertising and billing services as described in Google's linked policies.

Use a trusted local connection and keep your devices and pairing PIN secure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If you believe a device or PIN has been exposed, change the PIN and disconnect devices you do not recognize.

6. Data retention and your choices

Bheki Remote feature data is handled to provide the feature while you use it. The PC Server's pairing PIN remains saved on that PC until you change it. You can stop feature data exchange by disconnecting the phone or closing the server, and you can remove locally saved app data by uninstalling the relevant app or clearing its data through the device settings. Information handled by Google is subject to Google's policies and controls.

7. Children's privacy

Bheki Remote is not directed to children under 13, and Bheki Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service. The Android app's Google services may have their own age-related requirements and practices.
